Dear Feral Friends,

Welcome! We hope you find our site informative and educational. Our goal is to introduce you to the feral cat world and to help you understand about their everlasting existence. During your visit you will learn what is referred to as a feral cat, where they come from and the many ways you can help us, help them!

We will also introduce you to a popular feral cat management program used widely around the world called the TNVR-M Program (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Return and Manage Program).

The Stoneham Feral Cat Society is an all-volunteer; non-profit organization which was formed in November of 2002. The original founders of the Society comprised primarily of Stoneham residents and dedicated Animal Advocates from surrounding towns. The continuous support from our families, friends and neighbors has kept us growing. Our mission is to educate and assist the general public in the care and management of feral cats.

Unbeknownst to humans feral cats are found everywhere, perhaps even as close as your own backyard! It's true, the cat you once thought belonged to your neighbor could actually be one of many feral cats wondering about from yard to yard scavenging for food to survive.

Stoneham Feral Cat Society Members and Volunteers are truly devoted to assisting the homeless, helpless and abandoned feral cat population in our town and we welcome you to join us. To date we have trapped, spayed and neutered over 300 feral cats and found loving homes for the many kittens that have been born outdoors under woodpiles, sheds, porches and abandoned cars.

The support of the community and the help of additional volunteers are critical factors in making our mission a success and we need your help in order to achieve it! Thank you for visiting!

Respectfully yours,
